The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate strong communication and time management skills and an ability to interact effectively with property stakeholders, retailers, Centre management, consumers and third-party marketing suppliers. This is a multi-skilled marketing role which requires a self-motivated and proactive individual who can take a hands-on approach to all tasks and deliver them effectively and in a timely fashion.
Candidate Attributes – knowledge or experience of working in a marketing agency or retail environment would be advantageous. Must have a passion for social media and a ‘can-do’ and positive attitude to the challenging and exciting, business retail sector. Creativity and innovation are key skills in this role. The successful applicant will be expected to have strong organisational skills and be technically proficient in MS Office Products and have an eye for accuracy.
Ability to work individually and within a small team including strong links to third party suppliers. Experience of working with suppliers would be an advantage.
Liaison with tenants at both site and head office level to encourage tenant participation in events and marketing activities
Assist in obtaining monthly sales figures and retailer trading comments. Work with retailers to ensure relevance and value in all marketing events and campaigns.
Be responsible for execution of tenant liaison strategy including meetings, newsletters, e communications, and campaign involvement feedback.
Under the direction of the Marketing Agency, develop and manage an engaging content strategy to fuel the Centre’s digital strategy, utilising channels such as the website, social media platforms, Darius Shopper Engagement platform.
Provision of regular site reports and measurement detailing activity for inclusion in monthly management/marketing reports Liaising closely with the Marketing Agency to ensure that tactical marketing activity is responsive and timely based around tenant requirements and in line with Castlepoint’s strategic vision.
Work with the marketing account manager on initiatives involving landlords, centre managing agent, customers, community groups, local authorities, media partners and surrounding third parties.
Liaison with Centre team and Marketing Agency re issuing PO’s and managing expenditure in line with agreed budget.
Work under guidance of the Marketing Agency Account Manager to assist in delivery of the marketing strategy plan which includes a programme of onsite events throughout the year.
Work under guidance of Marketing Agency Account Manager and Castlepoint Centre Manager to assist in delivery of marketing communications plan supporting car-park redevelopment works.
Regular engagement with tenants to ensure that aspirations are met and that post event analysis is presented to encourage increased future participation.
Provision of regular site reports and measurement detailing activity for inclusion in monthly management reports.
Willingness to adopt a flexible approach to working patterns is essential in order to respond to the demands of a busy retailing and leisure environment. This position will involve occasional evening and weekend work to manage the marketing events as outlined in the centre marketing strategy.
To comply with centre Health & Safety Policies and Procedures, attend training courses when required to do so. With training, ensure compliance with Risk Assessment insofar as it affects in-centre events.
