Shopmobility provides a solution to many of the shopping problems faced by those with impaired mobility. It is available to anyone, young or old, no matter whether their mobility impairement is temporary or permanent, caused by illness, accident or ageing.

Where is Shopmobility situated?
The Shopmobility Unit is situated on the lower ground floor car park, directions to the unit are as follows :
From Castle Lane East
Enter the centre at the traffic lights, at the small roundabout take the third exit signposted B&Q and Shopmobility. Immediately, take the 1st, sharp left hand turn. Continue along this road, driving over two zebra crossings turning left at the Shopmobility sign which you will see above your head. You will find our unit on your left.
From Castle Lane West
Enter the centre at the traffic lights. Take the third exit at the small roundabout, continuing along Hamblin Way. At the second roundabout take the second exit signposted B&Q and Shopmobility and then follow the directions as above ( From Castle Lane East).
It is most important to remember that the Shopmobility Unit is on the lower ground floor car park. Do not go onto the upper deck.
When is Shopmobility open?
The Shopmobility Unit is open six days a week, Monday - Saturday from 10.00am to 4.00pm.
Please note that wheelchairs are available on Sundays from the Castlepoint Management Suite, which is located on ground level, underneath Argos.
How much will it cost?
Visitors will pay £3 per visit. There is also an annual membership fee of £5 with a reduced fee of £2 for each visit. First time visitors will be asked to register and will need to show some form of identification. Full training can be given on any of the equipement and bookings can be made in advance to ensure availability.
