We were pleased to be involved as it gave us the opportunity to spread the word further a field of the convenience that exists at one point for shopping in Bournemouth.
Despite the threatening rain, and the torrential downpour after racing, it didn't mute the obvious enjoyment experienced by 7,500 race goers and for those that stayed on to listen to Killer Queen the tribute band.
The final race of the day sponsored by Castlepoint was won by the Sir Michael Stoute horse quotation, ridden by the champion jockey Ryan Moore.
